Indian Pacers vs Golden State Warriors NBA Preview and Betting Tips
January 28, 2019
Never write off a champion. That’s the message the NBA’s defending champs, the Golden State Warriors, have sent the rest of the league in the past month. On Tuesday, at 11am AEST, the Warriors get the chance to further assert their dominance against one of the East’s top teams, the Indiana Pacers.

Golden State’s Mean Streak
The Warriors are looking more and more like the team that has dominated the NBA the last four seasons and less like the team that was in crisis in November. Just two months ago, Steph Curry was on the sidelines, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green were fighting, and Boogie Cousins was still in rehab for his ACL.

Fast forward to the end of January and the Warriors have won 10 in a row, Curry’s being talked about as an MVP Candidate, and Unibet has them at an almost unbackable 1.50 in NBA title odds.
Indiana, third in the East, would normally be confident of their ability to beat the Warriors. But there’s one small matter that will make the task much more difficult: star Pacer Victor Oladipo ruptured his quadriceps tendon last week and will miss the rest of the season.

Pacers v Warriors Betting Tips
Will the Pacers make this a statement game in light of Oladipo’s absence? It seems almost unfair to say it, but the Warriors are almost a sure thing here. According to Unibet, the Warriors have covered the line in 15 of their last 17 Monday (U.S. time) matches as road favourites. Good thing then that Neds is paying 1.25 for the Warriors to win and a generous -8.5 points in line betting.
Unless you’re willing to risk your money on an unlikely Pacers’ upset, the best betting markets are the ones involving multis. PointsBet is paying 2.85 on victories to the Warriors, Celtics (hosting Brooklyn), Nuggets (at Memphis), and Clippers (hosting the lowly Hawks).
