Sydney produced awesome Autumn racing now Queensland’s wonderful Winter Carnival is on the Horizon. Group 1 races such as the Doomben Cup, Doomben 10,000 and of course the Stradbroke Cup will contested and claimed from May to June in the Sunshine State. Winter Winner Competition

Betfair’s ‘Winter Winner’ competition requires players to Back or Lay horses selected by the bookmaker over 5 Saturdays from May 9 to June 6. These Race Meets include BTC/Doomben Cup Day, Sunshine Coast Guineas Day, Doomben 10,000 Day, Queensland Oaks Day and Stradbroke Day. Each Friday, horses will be nominated for the Saturday meet which participants must then back to win or lay to lose. Those who are successful on all nominated horses will advance to the next weekend’s event while those who don’t get every selection right are eliminated. A minimum $10 stake on each nominated horse qualifies a selection and only the first bet per race applies. The first 4 rounds members will be required to get 3 from 3 before while those who make it to the final round (Stradbroke Day) will have to correctly Back or Lay the nominated runner in every race. Whoever gets the most right in Round 5 is the Winner; while a Tie-breaker question will determine the champion if there is still a tie between entrants.

Ripping Racing Prizes

The major prize is a VIP experience for 2 at the brilliant Birdsville Races. It’s valued at $15,000 and includes; flights from your nearest capital city, accommodation, Race Day hospitality, spending money and more. The Runner up will win a Magic Millions experience for 2 valued at $6,000. The second place prize includes; return economy airfares from the customer’s nearest capital city to the Gold Coast, 5 nights accommodation, a hospitality package for Magic Millions Day and $2,000 credit into the member’s Betfair account. The third place prize is $4000 credited into the second runner up’s Betfair account.

The competition is open to all Betfair clients who enter via the bookmaker’s promotions page before Friday May 8.
