The Ashes Fifth Test Preview and Refund Bet Offer Tip At Ladbrokes
December 30, 2013
Both Shane Watson and Ryan Harris could be left out of the Australian side for this Friday’s Fifth Ashes Test – as the home side try to snare the final piece of an Ashes whitewash over England.
Darren Lehmann’s side gave themselves an extra day of rest by wrapping up the Fourth Test in Melbourne before Tea on Day Four, but – after naming an unchanged side for the last seven weeks – the demands of four tests could lead to changes for this final showdown.
Lehmann has already suggested that all-rounder Watson could sit out the last test against England, if his groin problem means he’s not fit to bowl.
He told the Sydney Morning Herald: “I think Shane would admit he has been a little bit disappointed with his output at number three but, at the end of the day, an all-rounder has to bowl. If he’s not right to do both, we’ll have to have a look at that.”
Meanwhile – despite starring against England while managing a knee problem – fast bowler Harris now also has a foot injury to add to his worries. However, he is still desperate to play a part in Australia’s whitewash attempt.
Harris said: “Try and stop me from playing. I want to be in there, I want to be playing all five.
“I will look after myself… (as) I want to make sure I am out on the field in Sydney.”
You can also make the final Ashes Test even more interesting, by taking advantage of Ladbrokes‘ great Ashes refund offer.
