Sportsbet Price Close AFL Contest For Hawks v Dockers This Friday
March 31, 2014
With both sides so far undefeated after the opening two rounds of the 2014 AFL Premiership season, this weekend’s clash between the Hawthorn Hawks and Fremantle Dockers is sure to be electric.
The two sides will meet at the MCG on Friday night both looking to extend their 100% winning starts to the season. And punters at Sportsbet can select this game as one of their picks to try and land a massive 40% bonus on successful AFL Multibets.
Just sign up with Sportsbet and make a 4-leg or more AFL Head-to-Head Multibet for any of this weekend’s football and Sportsbet will give you a bonus of up to 40% on top of your winnings if all your selections come in.

Hawks edged out Essendon 13.12 (90) – 12.14 (86) last time out, but the result was somewhat overshadowed by Jordan Lewis’ dive in the third quarter last Friday. Lewis staged for a free kick – after falling to the ground in a theatrical manner following Brendon Goddard’s push to the chest.
Vice-captain Lewis told the official AFL site: “I do remember it and once I saw it I didn’t really like it, to be honest.
“I suppose I probably hadn’t had a kick up until then, so I thought if I can try and suck him in in any way I might get my first kick for the game.
“But I don’t want to get a reputation for that.”
Hawks (2.00) could be without captain Luke Hodge and five other players for Friday night due to injury, while Sportsbet’s 1.80-priced favourites Dockers will be without suspended duo Nathan Fyfe and Zac Dawson – after both were cited by the AFL Match Review Panel for incidents in last Saturday’s win against Gold Coast.
