After seeing off Ali Carter 6-5 in their thrilling Group Four Final contest, Robertson will be full of confidence going into the last four of the Champion of Champions event in England.

And the China Open champion has every right to be – after recovering from 1-3 down to beat Martin Gould 4-3 in his first game to qualify for the Group Final. Robertson knocked in his 49th century break since April’s World Championship in his win over Carter. So, if he can continue to rack up the points for a few more days, he has every chance off walking away as champion by the end of the week.
