Brookvale Oval has been a difficult venue for the Roosters in recent years with their last success here coming almost a decade ago, but there has been a turnaround under Trent Robinson with a fresh squad. The Roosters have scored 132 points and have only conceded three tries in as many games since slipping up against Canberra and will fancy their chances on Monday.

In round 7 Manly were unfortunate to lose to South Sydney Rabbitohs after playing well for much of the game, but were fortunate to win 24-18 last week after sacrificing much of the possession to Dragons. Manly are likely to be up for this one in their fortress though, and will look to reduce the impact of Sonny Bill Williams to take hold of the game early on.
The game could be won and lost out wide with both sides having plenty of quality in the flanks and it will be interesting to see the power of Manly against the mobility of Roosters come kick-off.
