The race will be ran over 1350 metres, 50 metres shorter than its usual distance. He’s at double figures to the double. CHARLIE BOY and GENERAL LIFE placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Doomben 10,000 and both will be in the mix again, especially at handicap conditions. Exciting Filly LUMOSTY has come into favouritism at around $5.50. She’ll carry just 50.5 Kg and is aiming for a third straight victory after strong wins against older horses in her most recent outings. Many in the field though aren’t without a chance, making this race tough to call.
