Cracking Quaddie Offer on Ipswich Cup Day

Enjoy Ipswich Cup day even more thanks to Tom Waterhouse's Money Back Quaddie Special this Saturday.

It’s Ipswich Cup day this Saturday and to celebrate some provisional racing Tom Waterhouse has a money back offer at the venue. Place an Ipswich Quaddie and if it loses in the last leg, you’ll get your stake returned! That’s your cash back, up to $100 if your first Quaddie with Tom loses in race 8. If your selections stand tall in the first 3 legs but your horses fail to finish first in the final event, you can take solace in the fact that while you won’t be winning any dough, you won’t losing any either!

The Quaddie kicks off in race 5 at 2.37pm AEST while the following 3 legs are all black type contests. The Cup and feature event is race 6, and it’s followed by the Eye Liner Stakes in race 7. The final leg and perhaps most crucial for punters is the Gai Waterhouse Classic.

The Main Races

The 2150 metre listed Ipswich Cup looks a tough race to call! Mornington Cup winner BANCA MO is the top weight, and will carry 59 kilograms. Indications are the race will be run at a solid pace with plenty of leading runners participating. The tempo may suit the favourite DANCHAI. The Chris Waller trained horse will jump from barrier 2 and carry 54 Kilograms but will the 6 year old handle the distance?

The 1350 metre Eye Liner Stakes looks a competitive event, as it traditionally is! Group One winner SMOKIN JOEY is the class horse and while he’s down in grade he’s up in weight and will carry 59.5 kilograms. He’ll need some luck in running with tough tests coming from Glasshouse Handicap winner RIVA DE LAGO, Peter Moody’s ULMANN and NITE Rocker.

Mares and Fillies will fight it out over 1350 metres in the Gai Waterhouse Classic! CHAMPAGNE CATH and REAL SURREAL are battling for favouritism. The latter is a former Magic Millions winner and will likely be cashing down CHAMPAGNE CATH who’s an on pacer.

Bet on the Ipswich Qauddie with Tom Waterhouse this weekend and if 1 leg lets you down, at least make sure it’s the last, because he won’t!
