Celebrate Stakes Day with Tom Waterhouse's 8 Race Offer

Celebrate Stakes day with tom Waterhouse and get a refund on every Randwick Race this Saturday including the Group One Champagne Stakes.

Racing at Royal Randwick this Saturday will see the grand finale of Sydney’s Autumn Carnival. Tom Waterhouse wants punters to celebrate Stakes Day in style and his offer on the occasion will keep his customers content. Tom Waterhouse will refund your first win wager on every race if the horse you back finishes runner up to the starting price favourite. The refund will be in the form of a bonus bet equal to your stake up to $50. 8 Races will be run at Randwick on Saturday which means punters will be able to secure up to $400 in bonus bets if their selection finishes second. Why not use this offer while having a punt on the second last Group One of the Carnival, the Champagne Stakes! You might be popping the Champagne if you back the winner but if your horse is the Bridesmaid it won’t be all doom and gloom.

Final Event of Triple Crown

The $400,000 Champagne Stakes is a Group I set-weight race for two-year-olds held over a mile. It marks the culmination of the two-year-old Triple Crown, preceded by the Golden Slipper and Sires Produce Stakes. In 2012 Gai Waterhouse’s colt ‘Pierro’ claimed the Triple Crown after comfortably beating his rivals in this event, having already won the Slipper and the Sires. The Peter Snowden trained ‘Guelph’ won the Stakes race in 2013 meaning the trainer’s won it 3 times in his past 5 attempts but he won’t make it 4 from 6 this weekend as he’s without a runner. Trainer Leon MacDonald who won last year’s Champagne Stakes with ‘Go Indy Go’ also won’t saddle up a horse on Saturday.

The Favourite

Jockey Hugh Bowman will ride ‘Pasadena Girl’ as he aims to make her the fourth favourite to win the race in the past 11 years. The 2 year old Filly ran fourth in the 1400 metre Sires Produce Stakes in just her third career start and her first race in Sydney. She’ll run the mile for the first time on Saturday but looks the horse to beat, though 8 other participants will carry hopes of causing an upset in race 4 at Randwick.

The above Tom Waterhouse promotion has been running throughout the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival and it’s not too late to take advantage of the offer if you haven’t already. Sign up with the bookmaker to do so, and just for depositing into your account for the first time you’ll get up to $250 in free bets.
