Place an outright bet on the World Cup winner prior to the round of 16 and Sportsbet will refund your losing stake should your team be eliminated in a penalty shootout.

If your outright selection is eliminated by penalty shootout, Sportsbet will refund your bet (one per customer, max refund $100, first bet on market).

The offer applies to bets placed before the conclusion of the group stage on 29th June 2am AEST.

To be eligible, the team you back in the outright market must be eliminated from the World Cup via a penalty shootout as per official results.
