2nd Place Racing Refund

There is no worse feeling than picking out what seems to be a certainty only to see one horse beat your selection home. Thankfully Betfair Sportsbook have introduced an offer to help safeguard against such situations.

Place your first win bet on Race 1 at any Metropolitan track on Saturday 13 September 2014 using Best of Five, Best of Four or Fixed odds, and if your horse finishes second, Betfair will refund your stake.

Refunds which are capped at a maximum amount of $25 will be credited to qualifying accounts within 24 hours of the conclusion of the race.

Betfair Terms & Conditions:
Current Betfair customers that are residents of Australia and New Zealand are eligible to take part in this Promotion.
The maximum refund that any customer is entitled to is $25.  If a customer places a bet with a stake greater than $25, then the Promotion will only apply to the first $25 of the customer’s stake.
This offer only applies to your first bet on the race in each state. Customers are eligible to 1 qualifying bet per state.
Eligible metropolitan tracks include: Royal Randwick, Flemington, Eagle Farm, Belmont and Morphettville.
Only bets placed using Best of 5, Best of 4 or fixed odds will be eligible for the purposes of this Promotion. Bets placed on other products, including the exchange will be ineligible.
Win Bets Only
The Promotion is available only to recreational customers.  Betfair reserves the right to make the Promotion unavailable to customers who are considered by Betfair to be abusing the Promotion by any means.
Betfair will use all reasonable endeavours to provide eligible customers with their refund within 24 hours of the conclusion of the race, however, circumstances outside of Betfair’s control may cause delays in providing refunds.
